Dear Friends of the Sisters of St. Joseph,
As you know, for the past several years, the Congregation of the Sisters of St. Joseph has taken necessary steps to address their major financial burdens. Various events and fundraising activities have been undertaken to help make this a reality. One such event has been our annual SSJ Golf Classic. This year we will celebrate our 25th event, highlighting a dedication in honor of our Sister Betsy Sullivan, who twenty five years ago had the vision and courage to take on this event to support the care of our elder sisters and our Mont Marie Health Care Center. Sr. Betsy has recently been elected President of the Congregation, a most fitting time to honor and thank her. All proceeds from our Golf Classic go directly to the Congregation of the Sisters of St. Joseph, earmarked for the care of our elder sisters.
We write to you today to ask your help in making this event a successful endeavor. Our SSJ Golf Classic is Monday, August 29, 2022 at the Springfield Country Club. There is a morning flight beginning at 8 AM for $175 per person and an afternoon flight beginning at 1 PM for $200 per person. Golf fees include lunch and a buffet dinner. Non-golfers are invited to join us for dinner at a cost of $55.
Your support is important to us and your participation in anyway is truly appreciated. The Sisters of St. Joseph have been a vital part of the Diocese of Springfield for over 140 years. We gratefully serve together the People of God.
