Dear St. Michael’s Family,
We hope and pray that you are staying happy and healthy. It will be a wonderful gift and blessing to welcome the Fourth of July celebrations back to East Longmeadow this summer. During this unique and particular year, we will actually be celebrating the Fourth of July fireworks on Saturday night, July 3rd and the parade will be on Sunday morning, July 4th. Due to those celebrations happening on the weekend, we will be celebrating the 4 PM Mass on Saturday and the 8 AM Mass on Sunday only. Everyone should have plenty of time to leave Saint Michael’s after the 4 PM Mass on Saturday before Maple Street is closed and affected with preparations for the fireworks. There may be some people who park in our parking lot early on that day because of the fireworks. You may not have your normal parking space but there should be plenty of room and we thank you for your understanding. The East Longmeadow Police Department will be present before and after the 8am Mass to guide traffic. If you would like to attend the 8 AM Mass and park in our parking lot and stay for the parade, you are more than welcome to do so! That would be a nice blessing. It will certainly be strange not celebrating the 10 AM Mass or the 12 noon Mass on July 4th but it will also be amazingly beautiful to feel the gift of our town gathering after such a challenging year. That is also a beautiful prayer. We hope and pray that your Fourth of July weekend is lovingly blessed.

Important Notice for St. Michael’s Parish
With the 4th of July falling on Sunday this year, our Mass schedule will be interrupted, there will be no 10 am or 12 pm Sunday Mass. Here is our weekend schedule:
Saturday, July 3rd—4 pm Mass
Sunday, July 4th—8 am Mass
