BLESSING OF THE ANIMALS
On October 4th, people all over the world will be celebrating the feast day of the Patron Saint of Animals, Saint Francis of Assisi. In remembrance of St. Francis of Assisi’s love for all creatures, Fr. Wayne will be having a special “Blessing of the Animals” ceremony on Saturday, October 1st at 5:00 PM in the back parking lot at the church. Please keep all pets on a leash or in crates so they don’t disturb other animals. All animals are welcome! Children may bring their stuffed animals for a blessing also. Donations for local animal shelters (towels, blankets, toys, etc.) would be greatly appreciated.
